I usually hunt with a 375 Wby but I bought a nice custom rifle in 375 Ruger on a 1909 Argentine Mauser action for an upcoming Cameroon Savanna PG hunt.
I have Nosler PT 260gr, Swift A-Frame 250gr and Nosler Accubond 260gr bullets.
I will also try some Swift A-Frame 300gr for a buffalo load.
I have a good supply of different powders to choose from.
I was wondering if you have load suggestions from personal experience to give me a starting point.
Thanks!

I had a Ruger African for a while, and found (not surprisingly) that H4350 worked great with a wide range of bullet weights. But I mostly loaded 300-grain bullets, and found charges near the maximums listed by Hodgdon grouped very well.

When I had a 375 Ruger I searched the net and found this. Used these loads just playing around shooting steel at 200 yards. Never really did any accuracy tests. I will say 10or 15 rounds of the bench will loosen up your shoulder. I did pm marshal with some questions but he never responded back. Looks like he’s been away from that forum for awhile. https://forums.outdoorsdirectory.com/threads/375-ruger-barnes-300gr-tsx-rl-17.68345/If you search marshals posts on the Alaska forum you will find other 375 loads with different powders.

Recently loaded some R15 with 270gr TSXs for my son’s rifle, very pleased with the results. I know it’s not as temp stable as some others but it’s always worked great for me in various big bores.

I have two loads for my Ruger Hawkeye African .375 Ruger that I have used on game in Africa, Argentina, and Texas, with great results:
Barnes 250 gr. TTSX, 82.0 gr. of H414, MV of 2900 fps
Barnes 270 gr. TSX, 81.0 gr. of Big Game, MV of 2800 fps.
Used these loads on Sable, Black Wildebeest, African Lion, Asian Water Buffalo, and a Nilgai bull in TX. Only two bullets were recovered, a TTSX from the Sable and a TSX from the Nilgai.

I used IMR 4350 & 300 grain Nolser partitions for my cape buffalo. On AK grizzly bear it was IMR 4350 & 270 grain Hornady interlocks.
I got the reloading data from Nolser

My Ruger Guide Gun in 375Ruger shot very well with 78.0 Varget @ 2,800 fps with the Nosler 260 Partition. Worked well on my bison.

I took my .375 Ruger to the range yesterday and today. It's a custom rifle built on a 1909 Argentine Mauser with a PacNor 24" barrel topped with a Swarovski Z6i 1.7-10x42mm.
I got good results with Nosler 260 Partition over H4350 1 1/8"
I also got excellent 5/8" groups with Speer 285gr Grand Slam over Alliant RE19
It also did well with Speer 285 GS over IMR 4451 1"
The best groups were with the maximum charges listed by Speer. I used the Speer #15 Manual since it has the most powders data listed.
***Will the RE19 give me temperature range issues? I kept the cartridges in my warm truck and shirt pocket until I shot them. The outside temp today was 29* but I am going to 103* temps in two weeks with this rifle.

RL-19 is not very temperature-resistant--but even the most temp-resistant rifle powders tend to increase pressure and hence velocity above about 80 degrees. The most temp-resistant powders gain considerably less pressure above 80.
