My son and his GF came in to town and we went to the lease where my son filled and fired a few rounds from the Origin he bought me last year. Trouble is , I told him to degas it and it remains full. The slotted degassing screw is now missing. I cannot find a part or source for it- any suggestions?

I would not mind some maintenance tips on this thing either so fire 'em off if you have them.

Happy New Year all.

I believe that is the same gun as the Air Venturi Avenger. You're also supposed to leave them pressurized as it's better for the seals.

Review of Origin says that the degassing screw only releases the air from the air chamber, not the entire tank.

I'd call the Umarex USA to get another screw.

Do you have the manual?

yes I do have the manual. I looked over it again and found a number on the back pafe. I will give it a shot.

I know almost nothing about this rifle. What are some tips or maintenance needs\practices etc...
