Kramer has attachments to use on their tripod would be a great light set up if they don’t give up too much to 8x30 or 8x32.

I'd say - Yes, you will be giving up quite a bit. I have owned the 8x32 HD Conquests and 8x20 Victorys. While the view in the Victorys is fantastic for a compact bino you really have to get lined up perfectly to not get rolling ball and the full field is fairly tight. The 8x32's are just way easier to use. They also have a larger field of view and performance and dusk and dawn will be superior. Not saying that the compacts don't have a place, but they are just more difficult to use and physics still apply(no matter how good the coatings are). There is no replacement for displacement.
