I just got word from my importer that a 6BR barrel I ordered at the beginning of August should be here by the end of January or the first week of February.

Special orders to Canada generally take longer because of cross border shipping and customs inspections, but this is the longest that I have waited. It will be about five months total time. I look on the bright side though. This has given me time to get all the necessary reloading stuff.

For anyone who shoots a Contender or an Encore, or any barrel for that matter, be prepared to pay more. The exchange rate is 1.3890 today, and has been higher for quite a while now. Be kind to your local gunshop when ordering. They have no control over the exchange rates.
