Got ice? We gave the deer one more shot last Friday afternoon and Saturday hoping to fill shootemette’s 2nd buck tag. While she hunted Saturday PM I had a walkabout. Having below 0 temps a few days before, the smaller streams had some ice that was 4 or 5 inches thick. Even with a heavy sky they made a starkly pretty picture with moss and wilting rhododendron.

Have any to add?

With a little 3/4” tube Browning scope. Think they were made by Redfield. Eye relief is awful but it looks right

Nice pics, nice rifle!

I've been chopping ice on stock tanks everyday since early November. Hasn't been too bad this past week, pretty nice weather actually.

Middle pic is a nice setting.

Indeed it is!

Sam / Paul, that hoar frost can really be really pretty once the fog lifts a bit.

I love when the streams in the mountains freeze. They can be a bit tricky to cross though.
