Lots of great pics but I'd love to catch one like that......

Flagstaff currently has its second snowiest winter on record and the latest storm brought 30" to the house. I made my way down to Sedona before the storm and before the highways were closed. Ten inches of white goodness fell upon the red rocks. This trip was also the maiden voyage for a new Fuji GFX 100s and 45-100mm lens. I made the decision to go medium format with 102MP so printing large metal prints 60-90" would be less of a task.

The best thing about photographing Kookaburras is they are a fearless bird that allow you to get very close, especially if they know they're going to get some fresh mince meat.

Pied Currawong in the rain.

Male & female Grey Butcherbird. They're an easy bird to photograph once they become familiar with you, although in this case, the female is a lot less timid than the male.

I managed to get another good pic of a female Grey Butcherbird earlier today.
