Living in Canada I have thought about hunting in Australia. I have friends down under who married Sheila's and stayed there. Been there once and shot a couple of kangaroos. Any recommendations of what hunting books in particular would be appreciated. What number is Nick Harvey's reloading handbook now? Thank you in advance.

Get yourself a copy of Tom Cole's book - Hell, West and Crooked.

Not a hunting story per se, but a damn good read about a part of Australia which was still wild, unsettled and empty up to about Christmas 1941. The years from the mid-'30s to 1941 are about Buffalo and Crocodile hunting in what is today the NW corner of Kakadu National Park.
