This scope is going back in service after being shelved for too long. My question is on the eyepiece. Is it the euro-style fast focus ring, or does the lock ring losen, and I turn the whole unit? Is the electro-dot different since it has the battery housing mounted on the eyepiece? I ask this because the lock ring is exactly that, locked up tight. The focus ring is knurled, but is very loose, has some play, and doesn't seem to change the focus of the reticle. Is anyone familiar with this setup? I'ts been sitting so long that it could be I thought it was broken and never sent it off to Burris, who knows? If I try to turn it any harder, it will need to be sent to Burris as broken, and I'll probably end up with a Chinese replacement, which I do not want. Any help is appreciated.

History repeats itself because it worked. If it didn’t work in the first place, it wouldn’t be history but another lost story of insignificance.

Burris wants me to send the scope back to them for inspection. I think I’ll do it to see the outcome.
