Just picked one of these up. Like brand new but unfortunately no box. From my research, I believe these 1894 classics were made 90-93. I've seen others online that have a prefix of 10 or 09 so 1990/1991 makes sense, but mine is serial # CL218XXX.
we're these made 92/93? Any idea of production numbers. I'm not a marlin collector by any means but "JUST HAD TO HAVE" this one cause it was so unique, but can't find hardly any info.thanks.

I had one that was made in that early 90s run for a few years. Mine wasn't like new but it was in pretty good shape. I've seen quite a few of them in 32-20, a couple in 25-20 (which I also had one of for a bit in the same time frame) but the only Bee was the one I bought.

You may be very pleasantly surprised with it. Mine shot lights out with the 45gr Hornadys over IMR4227 after putting a Wild West Trigger in it. I ended up dumping it because the supply of FN 22 bullets dried up really badly about 10 years back. It seems like they're easier to find again now, so I'd suggest stocking up if you plan on shooting it much.

Sierra makes a 40 grain bullet that will work real well in the Bee…

I have a 1894CL made in 1990 in .218 and it is a tack driver! unfortunately my old eyes are requiring a good scope these days! Never shot anything but factory ammo and it always shot a good group! You can't go wrong with a MARLIN!

Nice pick up, if anyone wants to sell one, let me know. I’ve been looking for one!
