Last summer I came across a NIB 30-06 Subalpine at a fair price. My reloading bench is a mess so I took it out for its first run today with PPU 165 gr stuff. I did polish the feed ramp and clearance the mag box before taking it out. Factory bedding. The Vortex Razor 1.5-8X made sight in a five shot ordeal. Multiple sub-1" 3 shot groups with cheap ammo. It will attend the annual "fire" hog hunt.
Conduct is the best proof of character.

I have owned 3 Subalpine models. Two 30-06's and a 280ai and they were all sub-moa shooters right out of the box with my handloads....Enjoy!....Hb

I wished I’d grabbed the Subalpine when Cabela’s was blowing them out for 1200. Live and learn.
