An intrepid explorer wanted to make a five day trip across the Sahara Desert. He went to see the local camel dealer to check on camels. He is told that he needs to make sure the camels are five day camel. So he checks out the dealer inventory and buys a five day camel.

The next day he leaves, across the Sahara headed for his destination. Three days out the camel keels over and dies. The intrepid explorer heads back to his starting point and goes to see the camel dealer.

He loudly complains to the camel dealer that the five day camel died after three days and he wants a replacement. The camel dealer is quite perplexed by the camel dying and asked the explorer, "did you top the camel off"? The explorer says "what does that mean".

So the camel dealer heads down to the river with a new five day camel. The camel puts his mouth in the river and starts drinking and drinking. After about 10 minutes of the camel drinking he starts just sniffing the water and he is not drinking anymore water.

The explorer sees the camel dealer sneaking up behind the camel with two bricks, the camel dealer takes the bricks and claps the camel on the nuts with the bricks. The camel of course sucks up a bunch more water, the camel dealer beams and says "that's how you top him off.

The explorer says, "oh my heavens doesn't that hurt"? The camel dealer replies, "not unless you get your thumbs between the bricks"!

I used to remember is as the camel dealer asked "Did you brick him". The rest is the same.😊

Young officer was sent to take charge of a French Foreign Legion outpost in the desert. While his aide-de-camp was showing him about, he noticed that there was a camel stabled in an out-building. Upon asking the purpose of the camel, the young officer was told that the men had needs and the camel helped to relieve those needs. The young officer was appalled by the thought of this, but decided to turn a blind eye to the practice. After a couple of months in residence, the young officer could not deny his need for the relief of his need and asked the aide to bring the camel to his quarters. Once the beast was in the room, the young officer was taken aback to see just how high off the ground the target of his intention was located. He dragged his desk chair over behind the camel, stood on it, and managed to relieve himself of his need. It was at this point that he realized that the aide had never left the room. He sheepishly asked, "Is that pretty much how the men do it?" The aide replied, "Well, not exactly - they ride her into the whorehouse in town".

Why do they call camels “the ships of the desert”?

Because they are full of sea men.

The difference between a camel and a man is, that one can work a whole week without drinking.

When ordering coffee, a camel is often asked...

"One hump or two?"
