Not yet. I'm going to have 2. I figured for that price it's worth a try. Here's a YouTube video on this model. The battery tray looks like a big improvement over my Burris Fastfire 3.

Would this sight be a decent optic for a carbine-length AR15?
I don’t have one of these Sightrons so probably shouldn’t comment, but the 300 hour battery life would be an absolute dealbreaker for me. Looking at the link the weight and the fact that it has a closed emmitter sounds good.
For an A.R. 15 carbine a lot of people like the Sig Romeo fives but I have not tried one of those.
I have two of these from primary arms that have been good and come with really solid mounts

I was just looking at that deal and came here to see if anyone had opinions about it. Has anyone here who has an astigmatism ever tried one of these Sightrons? Just wondering if it's any better than others.
