Anyone used this model?

WE60

New version of their portable sharpener.

I know a couple members use the wicked edge system.

Then go comes with 2 grits ( 4 stones ). ~$275.

Not much on youtube, except for wicked edge demo videos.

I started out on a similar WE model and graduated up from there. Great product.

Guess my question is….

The Go WE60 comes with 2 grits ( 4 stones ) for $275.
Add another set 2 grits ( 4 stones ) then you’re about $375.

The WE100 comes with 4 grits ( 8 stones ) for $375.

Is there an advantage one over the other?

2 different systems base / clamp wise.

Wow time flies. I remember when that kind of money bought some serious knives and money for sharpening them was an afterthought.

With these prices a guy who’s good at putting an edge on a blade might ask as much as he wants and get it

I’ll stick with my ole Edge Pro to fix the cheap ones I mess up free handing

At least those knives that me and others on here have been buying from BigDave are starting to burn a hole in his pocket

Just having fun- hope you get a Wicked Edge and come back here and brag a little

I doubt I’ll even get one….

Just idle time in the deer stand…

I need to just learn to freehand…

The horse butt leather strop i made does help bring them back to shaving sharp.

Timely and proper use of a leather strop does more for edge finish and retention
than most realize.
