A while back there was a thread on here about tent stoves and it was mentioned that Four Dog Stoves was only making titanium stoves. Recently I checked their site and they have Little Dog DX steel stoves back in stock. Lots of people claim that these stoves were some of the best made and produced right here in the USA. Considered buying one several times but I just can't kill the cylinder stove I have now and it seems to work fine for our purposes so I'm hanging onto it for a while. Still on the wish list though...

Sheister, I wouldn't wait to long. Don is getting up there in years and this could very well be the last run of the Little Dog stoves.

I think I've owned four or five hot-tent sized wood stoves. The four dog is the only one which is as airtight, or almost as airtight, as a stove you'd buy for your house. It does make a difference in extending the burn time.

Sheister, I wouldn't wait to long. Don is getting up there in years and this could very well be the last run of the Little Dog stoves. Yep, but I'm getting up there too so I think I'll leave it to my son and nephews who will take over the camp set up to decide to spend the money... they aren't exactly cheap, but probably worth the money for the extended burn time
