Hey guys, wanted to pass this on if any of you are looking for a 375, 416, or 458wm and other African rifles. Willey Brothers in Reno, just got a whole slew of African big game hunting rifles in. Most of them are immaculate and in very nice stocks. The Whitworth rifles range between $1,000-1,500.00. They also have some very nice Mauser rifles in plastic stocks on the cheap. Very cheap. I damn near bought a 458 Winchester magnum yesterday for $400.00. Some of these rifles have iron sights and some don't. The ones equipped with irons are using Lyman's. Those are stocked with unknown plastic stocks, but are priced very low at around $349-$500. The cartridges range from 7x57 mauser to 458wm.. Just a heads up. I guess they bought 164 rifles from one collection.

You were at their store in Reno? That's what I thought. There is a whole fu cking slew of them there.. They bought 164 rifles from a collection. Re-read my OP. I damned near bought a mauser action 458 win mag that was in a plastic stock. Barrel looked new and they said many of these rifles have never been fired. They also had a 7x57 mauser with a 30" barrel that you would have liked. That one was $349.00. If there is anyone here that lives close to Reno, and they have an interest, they should go check out that collection of rifles they got in. I would have bought the 458 win mag, but my shoulder hurt when thinking about shooting it. Besides, I ended up buying an H&R 340 30-06 at a different shop for cheap:

If it is as nice as the ones I was looking at in person, you will be happy with it. Hopefully you didn't pay too much over $1,500.00 for it, as I think that was the most expensive one at the store. Very beautiful rifles IMHO..
