There were a few folks lately considering older model scopes, gloss finishes, rebuilds, etc. Thought I’d post this link for those unfamiliar with these folks Vintage Gunscopes

The other cool thing is that they pay pretty good money for such scopes you no longer want.

You can spend a lot of time just going through the menu and gawking. Saw an old Redfield mini 4x on there for $599. I have what I’m pretty sure is the same scope with the Browning name that was on a Browning semiauto .22 with the wheel adjust rear sight. Scope is now on the 9422 Mag I put up some pictures of with frozen streams in the background.
Really neat stuff there. Even some Weaver rimfire about as old as I am.
edit: For anyone wanting a scope of the same era as say an old Savage 99 from the ‘40s but without the fog. They put new current tech glass with nitrogen purge in the old Weaver K models

I didn't see Nikon on their list of scopes they refurbish. That's too bad. I have 4 and they are my favorites.
