Any of you guys have a dedicated outdoor kitchen?
Not just a simple grill setup
Like a true “outdoor kitchen” sinks, built in grills, and burners type outdoor kitchens
I just got given a very expensive skeleton/cabinet setup for an outdoor kitchen by a cousin who works in the industry. We are currently building a house. Needed some inspiration.

I'm not sure what it is you want to know. I have an outdoor kitchen with a gas bbq, a sink, a burner, and granite countertops, all under a covered pergola, etc, etc. I use it a lot mainly because the weather here allows it. One of my daughters lives in Franklin,Tn. so I know a little about your area, my first thought is how much year-round use would you get out of an outdoor kitchen?

Post some pics up
What are things you would do differently or like to have
Things you’ve learned about any quirks or challenges
Things that you thought would be cool but you never use.
I’m in design phase and can make changes as needed, looking for some cool outdoor kitchens for inspiration and ideas

I do not but many near me have them often to include a large TV and a fireplace.

This is a covered concrete patio. Vaulted ceilings. The backside of the interior rumford fireplace chimney wall comes out here. There will be a ventless gas fireplace on the exterior here( my dad is a master mason building both fireplaces for me!). Best dad ever. Tv will be on this exterior fireplace chimney as well
Figured might as well do a outdoor kitchen as it’s a very expensive setup I’m being given for free
Plus I can buy high end grills through him at cost

I’d recommend either a pizza oven or I’ve seen a lot of people install one of the big green egg type smokers. Of course gas grill and gas burners/cook top, wine fridge, beer fridge are a must.
Consider installing a ceiling fan also especially for summer.

Definitely doing a ceiling fan and a whip to use a outdoor propane heater if we want( the umbrella looking types)

Outdoor ceiling fans don't seem to do much and melt in the heat.
Buy a Port-a-cool swamp cooler and thank me later.

Friend of mine's family lived in a trailer on the grounds of the ancestral home. The original house was in disrepair, but was quite the home in its day - had two separate upstairs accessed by two different stairways - one for family and one for servants. Along with it, there was a summer kitchen which was in good repair - a solid building that for 3 seasons of the year, my friend, while in high school used as his private residence (peed outside, dumped and bathed in the trailer). The whole idea of a summer kitchen was born of the desire not to heat up the house with cooking. A dedicated structure for an "outside the house" cooking seems like a better idea that leaving everything in the open.
