Ok, not an ATV or a horse.... but This is a place where you guys would know.

I am shopping for a new Cycle to putter around with thru the summer. I really want a Honda NC750 or the Honda CB500x.... but, a dealership in Chicago seems to have a really good deal on a few Triumph Tiger Sport 660's and I was looking for educated opinions on a Triumph cycle.

Guy I worked with had one. Lifelong rider, loved it.
Said it was fast and VERY smooth, like riding a turbine.

Do you have a local dealer? I like Triumph bikes and have owned them in the past. However, new bikes have a metric schit-ton of electronics on them, and independent shops with the right equipment are few and far between. I'd be hesitant to buy a brand I didn't have a semi-local shop to support. That's the primary reason an Aprilia Toureg 660 isn't on my list, despite how great they seem to be.

If you really want to ride the Triumph and be more comfortable, get the Bonneville America. Not the plain Bonneville, the Bonneville America. It is a nice looking bike and will be more comfortable to ride any distance...
