Sure! Most gun shops with a good inventory of ammo will carry at least one selection of 300 Savage. Cabela's has it, as does Midway and other mail order outfits if you need to go that route. Don't try to buy it at Wal-mart or Dick's Sporting goods - the pimple faced kid behind the counter never heard of it and will try to sell you 300 Win Mag.
I was in a small bait shop & gun store near the river in my hometown a couple months ago buying cracked pecans and noticed they had three boxes of old stock 300 Savage ammo on the shelf priced $18 each. I was real tempted to buy it at that price, but I reload and already stocked up on brass last year.

Dicks' Sporting Goods near where I live has it , never seen any at Wal Mart. Most any real gunshop should have some.

Most of the hunting I do is in the woods at SHORT range , any of the Win or Rem factory loads will group MOD in either of my rifles. I have yet to shoot a deer with a 300 Savage , so cannot attest to the terminal performance. I have no qualms that the 300 will do the job.

In my area most of the small gunshops carry 300 ammo, also at Gander Mt. 180 gr. are more accurate in both my R and EG. I have killed deer with both 150 and 180. Equal results, all in the timber under 100 yards.

My 300's seem to like 180's better than 150's, but shoot minute-of-deer with both. Got one 1945 99EG that's just SCARY accurate with factory 180gr.
What gun are you shooting it out of?
Never mind, just read your other post. Welcome to the forum!

Gander Mountain has .300 Savage in Ohio. Sportsmans Guide and Natchez both catalog that caliber as well. It's not hard to find but it ain't cheap.

6mm250: The .300 Savage works like a charm provided you make a good shot. I used a 150 grn psp and shot my deer at a range of a bit over 100 yards. (A rather long shot for Missouri Whitetail). Done with a Marble Peep-Sight....the shot was dead on through both shoulders.
Deer dropped instantly....fell over and kicked a few times.
Remember, the .300 Savage is very similiar to the .308 in case capacity and size. The .300 Savage has a bit shorter neck and the case is slightly smaller.

Here in Houston, you can buy ammo at Carter Country, Bass Pro Shop, Academy Sports & Outdoors, and a few other places on occasion. I asked the guy at Carter's how long they were going to carry the stuff and he said probably till hell freezes over, because they sell 200 - 300 boxes a year.

Yeh, Gander Mtn. has Federal 180s and Remi 150s for $30/box. No thanks. I bought two boxes of Winnie 150s @21.99 and 2 boxes of Remi 180s @23.99 at my local shop. I almost never go to $ander $ountain, they're so expensive!

I have to say, lousy selection aside, Walmart has some wicked cheap prices on their ammo. I get all my .308 and .45 ACP there. Have yet to see .300 SAV in the Maine Wally Worlds, though.
But Mason's Variety in Cornish (about 900 square feet and you can get fried chicken and coffee brandy too) had it last time I was in, Remington 150 gr Core-Lokt, what more do you need?

It looks like Bass Pro is hard to beat for mail order. Core-Loct 180 Grain for $22.99 per box, plus shipping.

Rem, Federal and Winchester all still load it. The .300 Savage is unusual in the fact that it will usually meet or exceed its published ballistics in a 24" barrel, according to what I've read.
