Recently purchased a black stalker model A5. I’ve got a few 3.5 apex shells and some 3” hand rolled tss.
Anybody played with chokes for this setup?
I have preferred Indian creek in others but wondered if anybody has already played???

Thanks

Good gun. Congrats on getting it. I have an A5 and use a Carlsons Browning Invector DS Turkey Choke Tube, .665.

It patterns Winchester Longbeard XR #5 3.5" at 40 yards fairly well.

Sorry, I never shot TSS out of a 12 ga., but there is plenty of info over on Ol' Gobbler on choke/shell/gun combos.

I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....

It's opening day and I'm sitting in my truck at 4am at my hunting grounds. Had hoped to snooze a little before starting, but I've had too much damned coffee and can't sleep.

Anyways, I've got my A5 with me now and I've got the stock full choke in it, and some Longbeard XR 3 inch #5s. As stated above, the stock Full patterns nicely.

Been raining all morning here. Did see one gobbler but buddy on the trigger didn’t get it pulled.
Fun times either way
