Prob’ly not news to most here.

Ain’t seen this mag in so long I had forgotten about it.

Just found this on the shelves at a Barnes & Noble while stopping in to check on Wild West magazine.

Bimonthly, 112 pages of solid content. $6.00. I hope they can keep at it, I’d buy it at 4x that amount.

Inside the front cover more good news.

No sign of Wild West however. A first-class history magazine that has been struggling of late.

Good to see. I have a bunch of old ones in the basement.

I go to a newsstand or bookstore about as often as I do the gynecologist, so I’m not likely to stumble onto one. Magazine racks in grocery stores are not worth browsing anymore.

What fresh Hell is this?

Subscribed - it's $32 for a year or $57 for 2. At $5.30 for a single mag via subscription - worth rolling the dice on that.

Yeah, I was thinking so myself.

Thanks for posting Birdwatcher!

Here's the one I used to wait for, would read it front to back multiple times. No longer in publication, issue shown is dated "Summer Issue 2006".

As long as the Magazine stays in business, then it's arguably a good buy.

I had a well known Muzzleloader Magazine close shop on me many years ago with 22 issues still remaining on a two year (24 issues) subscription.

No refunds were allotted-out. There was no way I was taking them to court, being that I live 1,000 miles away.

Hope your deal rewards you with all the issues.

I’ve a few issues of “Muzzleloader” from a few years back. If you’re in to colonial history and flintlocks, it’s a pretty great magazine.
