Like everyone else, I haven't been able to find any of these caps for a long time. Suppliers have been "expecting delivery" since last June, and nothing.

Now, I'm seeing some websites have updated status with "discontinued". WTF?

Anybody have any insight?

Thanks, Andy3

I dunno , I couldn't find any so got some Schutzen from Graf and sons. Bought some powder too. Might as well because you have to pay hazmat so make it worth while.

In the foggy recess of my mind I recall a recent blurb describing how RWS is abandoning the US market for their ammunition and components. Anybody know if it's true? I don't remember why, but I'll start a rumor by guessing they may be up to their elbows with work making military ammo to be used against Russkies, and accordingly putting the brakes on fringe markets like percussion caps for Americans. Dunno.

What's availability like today regarding CCI caps? I always used them interchangeably with RWS. Never got on the 1075+ bandwagon because I'm still working with a stupid amount of regular RWS #11's I bought 30-35 years ago now.

Anyone have any recent intel on availability of RWS caps? I emailed them a month ago asking about production and availability and got no response.

Don't know what's going on with them. I have been using the Schutzens for a few months now and prefer the RWS. Schutzens are copper clad steel and are not as reliable. Hammer on the firearm has to hit the nipple square and centered or there will be problems.

FYI.....Buffalo arms, in north Idaho, now has them in stock. Max order, 1000 caps, for $210, plus hazmat.
