In downtown Los Angeles, near Chinatown, there was an old after hours bar. Been there for 40 years, run by an old Greek owner who was also the bartender. Each afternoon just after five oclock, the door would open and an old Chinese man would hobble in and sit at the bar.
The Greek owner knew him well and asked, "What'll it be, Chang?"
The old Chinaman said, "Give me blandy."
The old Greek said, "Dammit Chang, you've been coming in here every afternoon for the past thirty years and every afternoon you say the same, "Gimme blandy. You've been in this country for at least forty years and you still can't speak good English. It's brandy, brandy, brandy, not blandy!
The old Chinaman looked at him and said, " Okay. Give me
brandy, you Gleek plick!"
