Agreed, I’m pretty darned impressed. These rifles are relatively expensive, but when you think about the quality of materials, workmanship, personalization, and what you’re getting for your money it’s kinda amazing really.

I've asked C. Sharps (and Ballard) if they would make a Low Wall .30-30, and the answer was no in both cases. The Miroku Browning/Winchester Low Walls are available in modern, high pressure cartridges - .243, .260, etc. and should be strong enough for a .30-30, but apparently no one else agrees with me! People have made them in the High Wall.

I had one just like that with a #3 barrel in .30-40. Was very accurate and easy to shoot. For reasons unknown, I sent it to Danny Peterson and it's now a .50-110 WCF.
