Surprise I meet Oskar at a gun show in northern Alberta yesterday, seams he was there at the invitation of a couple of fellas one that is an engraver, work blows one away and a fella that loves to enhance savage 99 with exotic woods and CCH, as well as the guy that does his stocks.
Oskar's work appears to be well utilised in the area as a number of other guys were having him CC their stuff , shotgun actions amoungst them .
In our discussions he said that actions up to 1935 were quite consistant in hardness ,when Savage started doing clip models is when CCH becomes a lot tricker.
I will be sending him a receiver which has been cut in half on behalf of our gun destruction program.thank you RCMP.

norm Ahhh, make sure you let me know how it turns out. P.S.: I took the 1915 380 to the range with the new (old) barrel on Friday and it never missed a beat. Drove the tack with one of the shots, never even hit the paper after that, I guess I was kinda shaky, haha.

I have used Old Oskar 3 times I belive , Great work, but the shipping both ways from the states costs about as much as his Case Coloring does! Trix on here turned me on to him. have talked to him on the phone also real nice fellow!

Turnbull does a nice job but they won't tell you much about how and there's there's no way of knowing otherwise what the outcome will be after you've wasted a few failures.
