Sorry if this is a duplicate. Jimmy John payed 500k a few nights ago for a mule deer tag in Utah. A night later as I understand it someone payed 725k for an Arizona mule deer tag. Which one of you was it?

A guy could go for about 70 Sonora mule deer hunts for that kind of money.

I wouldn't mind hunting the AZ Strip, but it would have to be an OTC tag, Pretty nice country when the Mule Deer hunts aren't on.
Gets crowded (for that part of the world) when the Mule Deer hunt is on.
50 tags in 13A and 80 tags in 13B
not too many solo hunters out there.
...Actually Sycamore, you are sort of right....

not too many solo hunters out there. That tag for 725k is good for rifle or whatever he wants to use, anywhere in Arizona, anytime he wants over a 12 month period. I think he can manage to hunt without the worry of being crowded. Osky

I bet they go with a guide or two, several assistants, plenty of camp help and a few videographers.

I'd like to see a pic of the bucks they get.

This is supposed to be Utah's 2022 governor's tag buck.

Osky I heard it was some crusty curmudgeon from NE Minnesota. He will probably try to shoot the critter with a homemade longbow too.
I am always looking for factory wood stocks!
