Sen. Steve Daines, R-Mont. has been suspended from Twitter on Monday night for posting a photo of him and his wife next to a Montana antelope that according to Twitter violated the platform's "rules against graphic violence." Expanded story at FoxNews

They reversed it pretty quick, my guess is they still have lots of left over triggers from before Elon. Or maybe Elon isn't the savior the campfire thinks.... Ymmv Maybe but doubtful. Doubtful because I don’t know anyone that thinks he’s a “savior” just a much better, more honest and intelligent champion of free speech when compared with anyone else in positions of power in the tech world. Requiring one to be perfect in all ways before you’re willing to support them is why the democrats are as effective as they are. They understand that they will never get a perfect candidate so they’re willing to accept a candidate that is BETTER than the other candidates on the issues of concern. Simply put Musk is far better than the other heads of Twitter and since he’s been a product of their ire he’s working against their treacherous goals. He switched from being a declared democrat to supporting republicans. It doesn’t hurt our side to have a popular, multi-billionaire genius that just happens to be a real African-American.

It's reported that Elon called and apologized to the senator and got his account back up.
Elon stated : "This is being fixed. Policy against showing blood in profile pic is being amended to “clearly showing blood without clicking on the profile pic”.
The intent is to avoid people being forced to see gruesome profile pics.
