Of the ones I have, I like the 22-250 AI as much as any. I know I shoot it most. I used to shoot the 7mm TCU a lot for pistol silhouette. The 7mm International was popular back then. I see the 257 AI for sale sometimes and the price is a bit below the 257. I'd think the 6.5-06 Ai would be up there and it hasn't been mentioned.

I prefer classic.

I have to agree with you on that one, been shooting the 22-250AI for many years and had my own reamer made more than 20 years ago. the only problem is that Lapua was late to the party and did not make 22-250 brass until after I had a reamer. Lapua brass is significantly larger at the base than any other brand of brass and wont chamber in my rifles so I'm stuck with Norma and Federal brass

Everyone thinks the .22 Creedmore is so wonderful, yet the 28 degree version of the .22-250 AI is virtually the same as the 30 degree shouldered .22 Creedmore. Magazine feeding of the 28 degree 22-250 AI is also better than the 40 degree version.

Isn’t that why folks like the Creed. Brass is already fire formed? I can’t see a seconds worth of difference between the two cartridges in real shooting but I can see a bunch of extra time forming cases.

Yes, exactly. And I suppose I'm saying that maybe the 28 degree version of the .22-250 AI should have been more popular than what it was, but nearly everyone opted for the 40 degree version.
