I have for sale a nice 760 30-06 $600 plus $50 shipping to your FFL from non-FFL. No Scope. I mounted a as-new Weaver 3x9 on it and it can be had for $100 more. It comes with two magazines, One is actually for a 742, but it works as well as the 760 magazine but the follower block the slide from going forward when the magazine is empty. The fore-end has a crack near the receiver but it does not alter function. Hawaii and Alaska extra.

What do you mean by "the slide has a crack near the receiver"?

Sorry, The wood fore-end has a crack, near the receiver. Fixed it.

30-06 Remington 760 165 Rem CL, 54.7 grains IMR4350, 0.71 MOA
30-06 Remington 760 165 Rem CL, 60.7 grains Big Game, 0.88 MOA

I had a 4x early Denver Redfield on it. I took it out a couple days ago and it had two groups - that is 2 shots 1/2" apart and 3 shots 3" to the right .75" far apart. I've mounted a different scop on it - a like new 3x9 Weaver. I'll shoot a couple groups with that set up. I think the scope failed; I'll see and post the groups.

I could not get this 760 to shoot well today??? I'd get a 1 MOA 3 shot group then the next two would open it up to 4 or 5 MOA. If someone wants to diddle with this rifle, the price just went down $150. That is $450 plus $50 shipping. Reasonable offers considered.

I do not know what happened to this rifle. It used to be a 1 MOA rifle, now, I just don't know.

I'm through with it. I'd like to keep the scope though.

The base is a Weaver style one piece base. The front two screws were not farmer tight; the back two screw were farmer tight. You get the rifle and the Weaver base for $450, unless it still is here tomorrow. The price will be dropping, so when the price seems right to you, grab it.

On your original post, the crown looked a bit rough, maybe have that cleaned up?? It’s a shooter grade 760 that will take deer.

It shot 1 MOA with that crown so I don’t think so. I’m thinking something is loose as it shoots 1 MOA for maybe 3 shots and then a second group that’s similar but inches away for the other two shots. I never had a problem with a 760 or 7600 before. I suspect that a gunsmith may know what to do. But I’m through with it.

For deals that involve shipment to FFL holders that will accept a rifle from a NON-FFL in the lower 48 the price is now $400 plus $50 shipping. $375 face to face.

If this doesn't sell at this price, I'll take it to a smith.
