I understand the difference and looked over some reports but what is yalls opinion? This is for adorable binoculars under $500.

Thanks

Tracy

Those are endearing, maybe charming, but I wouldn't say adorable.

The Celestron TrailSeaker ED was the best rated mid range binocular of the 15 models tested by a birdwatching group. They rated them better than higher priced binos under $500. Those would be my choice, especially at that price.

I wish there was standardized resolution, brightness, aberration, and light transmission percentages required to advertise glass as HD, ED, super ED, etc.

I want the 8x42 in the Celestron TrailSeaker ED but they want over $100 more so the 10x42 will be my choice

I don't think Doug carry's Celestron.
