Here's a really nice looking Henry that's been dipped in Mossy Oak Greenleaf and has a Burris Fast Fire 2 and Indian Creek choke. The Buy Now price is absurb, but I suppose you can make an offer.

On second thought, that might not be a horrific price they are asking. I don't think Henry's beaded barrels are drilled and tapped. Their sighted barrels are. So there's a lot going on with that gun that isn't stock.

True story, about 23 years or so back, I worked part time in a gun store. One day this little old woman came in that looked like Granny Clampett form the Beverly Hillbilly's. The other guys in the store all knew her and they said that every year she would come in and buy her husband a gun for his birthday. She was a very nice old lady and very mild mannered. Well I waited on her and she she picked out one of those 10 ga single shots. After she filled out the paperwork, I am walking her up from and she turned and looked at me and said, "I bet that thing will knock his dick in the dirt".
It was all I could do not to drop the gun and bust out laughing. I did not see that one coming from this little old lady.

I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects

I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....

H&R 10ga, custom pic rail with the out-of-production Weaver turkey scope with range finding reticle, .705 Terrror Tube. Great for late season birds that have been shot at. It doesn't kick too bad probably because it weighs 10lbs! This thing reaches out there. I really like the ATI stock idea - thanks scottf270.

They're great guns and I bet a 20ga will be sweet. I tried a 20ga with TSS last year, I got a bird with it and it weighs about half of what the big 10 weighs. There's something confidence inspiring about the 10ga 3 1/2 inch mortar shells, though!

Unfortunately, my 10 is not for sale but, good luck and I'll keep my eyes peeled for you.

Mule, I really like the ATI set up. I finally have firm control of the gun. It actually jumped out of my hands one time sighting in leaned back against a bench. Forward grip on the wooden forearm is a game changer.

The stock puts my head where it needs to be for sight picture thru my scope. I removed the steel bar out of the stock long ago but be advised changing to the ATI lightens the gun up. But the better stock drop angle and grip help offset the weight loss. Gun kicks more back than up.

Very cool. And, being able to shorten up the stock when you're sitting should be nice. Glad to hear it's high enough for a scope. I was thinking I might have to make some kind of cheek-piece.
