No such thing unless a griddle ring is used.

Also your pan is too hot.

I want a fried egg to have the yolk cooked all the way through. Runny eggs aren't my cup of tea. I break the yolk when I'm frying it, and cook it good and crisp.

Sunny side up is great if there is toast to mop up with, without toast its over hard.

1st - a basted egg is best.....

Whites MUST be done, not crisp, but NOT wet and runny.....

Yolks must be still soft...........

Eggs should finish cooking on the way to the plate, NOT in the pan or they're over done......

The smell of Ketchup on warm eggs makes me gag.....

Eggs should be place on TOP of buttered grits, or on top of home fried taters, eaten together allowing the yolk to 'run in'

IMHBEO...

Correct.

I typically put the OM eggs on top of toasted homegrown bread.

I like my eggs fried so the white is entirely solid and the yoke is entirely liquid. That said, if someone else is fixing them for me and they're a little overcooked, I shut up and eat them, don't whine a cry like an entitled little prince.

Ol lady uses a 1 quart Mason jar ring for perfectly round. Sits in the skillet with the lip up, make sure too butter or oil the inside of the ring so the egg doesn't stick.
