I'm driving down to Las Vegas tomorrow to pick up a circa 1965 Fortuna drilling in 16/70 and 7X57R with Recknagel bases and upper scope stage. It's not a cream puff, but it's tight with no wood cracks or pitting. It'll be my truck-drilling. That's 3/4 ton truck; these are heavy.

Hey Bruce- You've got a severe and terminal case of 'drilling' fever...LOL!

Few more useful cf rifles than 7x57R. Or 16x70 for that matter, in the shotgun world..
