Negative - there are almost 900 NR's with 17 points.

My son and I are trying to burn 15 & 16 points in this year's draw. Hoping point creep doesn't bite our azzes.

17. And if I had ‘em, I’d be burning ‘em.

With 4 points, you have a 100% chance on a general tag. wink

That might not be true this year! Will see how point creep is.

I have 4 points for Elk, but apparently there was a glitch on my application and it never processed so I missed the draw. Bad news is I moved to Wyoming so next year when I'm a resident they won't be any good.

I have 13 Antelope and Maximum Deer (17) points to use in this years draw or lose them forever.....watching the information coming in the future for draw odds.....

No schit.. - 2024 might be worse (at least for the general tags)

For elk, the maximum number of points is 17 going into the 2023 draw. If you fail to apply for two consecutive years or you draw your first choice, you will lose your points. If you draw your second or third choice for elk, you will not lose your points.

You are correct. The magic number this year is 5 for the general tag (both regular and special). I can see 2024 regular being 6+ for a gen tag.

Mr. Obvious observation here.......if Wyoming does go stupid in prices, the fed-up will cash in their preference points for the first available tag.

Reference the current Colorado preference point stupidity.

Watch tag prices.....but also watch preference point price increases.

I had 12 points decided that I was going to use them. Asked the Wyoming fish and game if I could donate them to wounded warriors and they said no. So I forfeited them.

Don't do that! I will pay, seriously.

Are they already gone?

You can’t sell them. You can’t give away! I was told that I could get an elk license then give that to the wounded warriors. It doesn’t make sense.

Are your points gone? I will fund your points and carry you to an elk killing spot. You would be much lighter than Buzz, assuredly. He is short, but extremely plump.
