Front, 220 Swift heavy barrel
Back, 17FB with correct bolt for those shorties

They say everything happens for a reason.
For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

Have posted this rifle a lot. I try to mix up backgrounds for it. Muzzleloading is a nice laid back season for me.

Built this one for a future grizzly hunt. It was fun but about the time I got it finished CDNN ran the lefty Ruger 77 in 375 Ruger for I think it was $699 or $599. That would have been an easy button vs this build.

The 6.5 tandem. The red one is 6.5x47, Hawk Hill #2 at 19", Carbon Game scout, 700. Learned on this one that cerrakote on a bolt is not great. Leave it bare or go nitride perhaps.

The white one is 6.5-284, Benchmark #2 at 23", Carbon Game Scout, 700. Let's me slow roll 140 vld or 156 EOL with minimal pressure and great accuracy. Doing these both over would just do ARC Nucleus or CDG actions on them. Balance of both rigs I like a lot though.

Great collection of LH rifles.
Really like #1 LH model 70 in 7mm Mag.
Thinking about building one for my LH grandson.
Thanks for sharing.

I’m a Model 70 junky.😁

I’ve got another LH Model 70 in 270 Win in a McMillan FWT stock.
But with the scarcity of LH Winchesters and prices going through the roof I had to try something different.
So, decided to try the T3X….I must say, I am impressed. Tikka makes a fine rifle! They are especially nice when paired with a McMillan!😁

Nice looking shooting irons on here. We tried a few of those Tikkas. Settled on a 22-250 wth 8 twist. Fun little rifle. Got a new McMillan coming for it.

Here is a savage 110C purchased in 1980 as a 30-06. It is now a 338-06. Removable magazine. This a working firearm so isn't pretty!

Then we have a 1960, I think, Savage 110L. Bought this on gunbroker a year ago as I just couldn't live without a 30-06!! Has very nice wood. Got a good deal on it.
