I wanted to go as I was looking for a fishing charter for this summer. Any word if the big show in Anchorage will happen? I’m out of state for 5 more days, so can’t make the Mat-Su show.

Anchorage show is April 14th thru 16th. Based on how bad it's gone downhill I won't be going though.

It’s supposed to be at the Den ina Center. Can’t see it being very big. I’ve done several events there in the past, and upstairs it was tough to get 1000 people in there, of course we had tables for dinner as well.

I was at the SCI Convention there before COVID hit that spring. I think the Out Door show would crowd it pretty good then.

I drove down and am in Palmer right now having Bfast at the Valley Inn Cafe.
Going after white-tailed ptarmigan sounds like a much more enjoyable and productive use of my time.
Have fun to anyone who goes to the show.

Was the busiest, yet had the least displays I have ever seen. And many of the vendors told me they are not doing Anchorage

My oldest and his girlfriend went and he said there was not much there this year. Considering he hasn’t been since 2020, that’s what he is comparing it to.

Back in the day these shows were exciting to go to, because of the prospect of fantastic deals and possibility of finding heirlooms of history at sane prices
In the past decade we have witnessed absolute insanity in pricing of stuff, even items you would normally find on LGS shelves
Did all the cool gun grandpa's die & the pos grandsons inherit their gun stuff ?
Sure seems that way
