OP Calhoun Campfire 'Bwana Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 43,738 Eastern Nebraska	Picked up a taped box of bullets at a local gunshow, handwritten "250 Sav" on the box, and a tag saying "40 pieces" on the side. Expected to find partial box of 100gr, but on opening it there's a full 50 and they weigh in at 87gr. Pretty happy for a $15 snag. Are they Remingtons, though? Don't think I ever have had old Remington 87gr bullets to reload. “The Savage 99 Pocket Reference”. All models and variations of 1895’s, 1899’s and 99’s covered. Also dates, checkering, engraving..
