Can anyone tell my why not and what might be better that justifies the price. Looking at the 527 mpct1. I DO NOT want a tree of any kind.

I’ve surprisingly been getting a lot of negative feedback elsewhere. Nobody stating that it’s not a great scope or possibly the best on the market right now but that brand X is all you really need. Well I’ve worked my way up to this price and quality range.

What say you?

I don’t mind paying for quality (S&B) but at some point I think it’s just diminishing returns. I’d like to hear others chime in but frankly I haven’t researched them much because they are over my pay grade.

Over on Sniper's Hide everyone is in love with them, but most reviewers rate them high end, but not over the top of anyone else in the Alpha market segment. They use a 36mm tube size which is way out of the ordinary. I had a problem adapting to 34mm rings with my S&B and Kahles scopes.

If you're good with the $ on it and your curiosity needs to be satisfied, then I say get it and decide for yourself. Nothing beats hands on so you'll know for sure.

I can’t find the extra $1000 value in the Tangent Theta but that’s solely based on reviews. You may be right.

As far as the Schmidt I think that has decidedly came in third behind these two.

Well done.

Jeff knows scopes and you should be happy.

The ZCO is a fine riflescope and will serve you well. Of course, I am partial to the March-FX 4.5-28X52 mainly for its wider FOV than the ZCO 527, but that's just me.

Tell us what you think of your ZCO after you run it awhile. I had a Gen 3 TT for awhile, but stopped doing long distance shoots, so I sold it. Once you use one of the top three scopes, TT ZCO and March, its very easy to find fault in the lesser scopes.
