Of course they can. They start up in Canada, come down into Montana, pick up speed in Wyoming, and blow through here like hell's bells. That's two countries and three states right there.

I put one of those turbo encapsulator, uh, encabulator, that is, the espelator things on an 83 Datsun pickup back in high school. Boy when that thing spooled up you better be hanging on cuz you were running every red light for 10 blocks straight. You might be onto something.

Consider that the SR71 is 50 year old technology, designed and laid out just a bit over fifty years after the Wright Flyer became airborne at Kittyhawk.

DANG ,, I had a 19 & 81 datsun p/up wish i'd had one of them turbin encapacitators on mine -- it was SLOW.
