Can one safely swage a soft cast .427 bullet to a .411?????
Can it be taken that far down?? Using a 41 caliber lee bullet sizer.

You could, in stages, but you'll erase the lube grooves in the process.

These are .411 bullets drawn down to .403. You can see the crimp and lube grooves are reduced in size. It will be more pronounced going .016”. You could relube with liquid Alox after drawing. ![[Linked Image from photos.smugmug.com]](https://photos.smugmug.com/Reloading/i-WVfr79V/0/cf2eb022/L/IMG_1204-L.jpg)

You could swage it down remove the lube, powder coat and size again.
I got banned on another web site for a debate that happened on this site. That's a first
