Never saw a liberal politician that didn't enjoy smiling while pizzing on someone's back and expounding on the goodness of rain, and all the while holding their hand out like Jose Jimenez...

My in-laws lived at Summit Lake (Rich Hwy) for a long time and were always able to pull some nice lakers out of there. As soon as the ice started pulling back from the shore in the spring was generally a good time to hit them.
The question isn't who is going to let me; it's who is going to stop me.

One of the best ways to fish it early in the spring is take a canoe down Gunn Creek out to the ice edge, especially when the hatchery guys are putting fry in Gunn Creek. Its ridiculous honestly. Another good option is to hit the outlet while the smolts are outmigrating.

Deena Bishop wasted a lot of money, made a mess of things, and left before the problems floated to the top of the bowl.

All of the idiots were working much too hard at using it for homeless shelters rather than the intended purposes.
Mark Begich, Joaquin Jackson, and Heller resistance... Three huge reasons to worry about the NRA.

Art Chance has a great article in the current Must Read Alaska concerning the current state of affairs in Anchorage.

... (Bill Dana playing a bell hop on t.v. for the younger crowd) ... Took me a long time to place that, and I'm probably among the youngest that have heard the bit. Never saw the original, but I saw Bill Dana on the Smothers Brothers when they made their comeback in 88 or 89.
