Just picked up my new colt talo Dark horse edition. 1 of 500 in 38 super. Elect. Nickle and black. Love it! Am I going to shoot it? Yep!

I never seen anything like that. I like it.

Is it all steel?

Some Colts use nylon and polymer for the MSH and trigger.

Just put a magnet to them. It didnt stick, but they don't feel plastic. Possibly aluminum alloy? Good question.

Possibly aluminum alloy? Good question.

You really can't tell much about metal, with a magnet.
A sharp blow with a ball-peen hammer will tell you much more!

Compare weights with an all steel version. If you don’t have one, just look up the stats.

Sweets: What a cool pistol and in such a cool caliber!
I have to copy that picture and send it to one of my collector friends - he LOVES Colts in 38 Super.
I am not sure if he's aware of this model - at least I have not heard him mention it.
Enjoy and thanks for the great picture.

Nice pistol, Sweets

If we live long enough, we all have regrets. But the ones that nag at us the most are the ones in which we know we had a choice.
