Graduated from HS in’68 and we might have had a couple of guys that were a little sweet but anybody that was “transgender” would one way or another, eventually decided they weren’t.
Food allergies….I don’t remember any at all.

Many people apparently "graduated high school" without ever seeing one.

Autism?
Weird, retarded, slow, kids?

The worse ones didn't go to regular schools then.
Probably shouldn't now. For the good of everyone.

Ther were feminine boys, and Tomboys.
Most of both turned out straight.
A 12 year classmate of mine still carries her wallet in her jeans, dresses and acts like
a guy. Could kick the crop out of most of the Geezers here. And lives with a guy.

Right?

Retards went to the asylum and the family never talked about them. Very hush-hush, shame-shame, couldn't talk about it because it might scare off prospects for the siblings.

Allergies? Didn't hear much, but then there was this whole "failure to thrive" thing. Sickly kids, nobody knew what was wrong, some made it, some didn't. If there was something wrong, nobody talked about it because that was shameful. Buck up, buttercup!

And gays? Gays that dared to come out of the closet in any way were actively hunted down by groups of young men for weekend sport. Very few were dumb enough to "come out" during their school years.

By all means, let's bring back the good old days.

My wife works in a school and I often ask the peanut allergy question. Did it really exist 50 years ago? Or did those kids die off (for "unknown reasons")?

We are now able to clinically diagnose physical maladies which was not the case 50+ years ago (senile vs Alzheimers, retarded vs autism, etc).

Clinically diagnosing mental disorders, however, is more difficult. The populism of all these trans/gay trends implies it is a social/cultural rebellion and not a genuine clinical problem (any curve that goes vertical in 5-10 years proves the point).

Public indoctrination centers, which exclude parents from the education and *health* of their children, is the first battleground against this evil called progressivism. The hippies of the 60's took over the education system and won. We have to fight to get it back.

Me either, 78-83.

Were you eyeballin' the fat chicks back then too?

Yes Sir! I had a fat babysitter I had a crush on that’s what did it I’m sure.

Will Munny: It's a hell of a thing, killing a man. Take away all he's got and all he's ever gonna have.

The Schofield Kid: Yeah, well, I guess they had it coming.

Will Munny: We all got it coming, kid.
