Did a last hail mary with the mouth call before leaving the woods...and was quickly cut off. Bird around 200 yards away. I waited a few and called again, cut off again, now just inside the woodline. One came out, two came out, a third came out, headed right towards the blind. He got to watch all three line up and gobble together. That's a repeat of last years success isn't it? The other one was from two seasons ago, he was shutout last year. It about messed me up, once this bird went down, he fell over on my chest and gave me a big hug. He gets it.
