We owned one for a couple years, joker just wouldnt cycle target loads, a good stout turkey load, duck load, just fine. Franchi told me to put two cases of winchester aa heavy target through it and get back with them. I wasnt about to drop 250 on shells to break in a gun. I've never had to do that with any of my remingtons, benellis, berettas. That 250 could have gone towards an m2 or something. My buddies full size 20 affinity did the same thing, but he doesnt shoot skeet or clays with it very often so its not an issue. He uses his mainly for ducks. I also know of two others than have had the "benelli click" happen to them when turkey hunting. A little bump will back the bolt up. I tried to do the right thing and get my son a nice shotgun, it just didn't work out. Ran across an 1187 compact and its been wonderful.
I will say those 20ga affinities feel and point really really good.
Sorry, I know this was a recoil pad post, looks good and those compacts do come with crap pads compared to the fullsize
