I've grown to appreciate some of my older Zeiss scopes and recently picked up a Conquest DL 2-8x42 w/ASV turret. Looking to hear from those that have owned this scope.

Can't help you with the 2-8x42 but I owned the 3-12x50 with a #6 reticle(similar to #4) Outstanding optics and never had an issue , they are a re-badged Diavari. I wish I could find one in a #60 reticle.

I own the 2x8 and 3x12x50. They’ve been reliable and track as they should. The 3x12x50 has some distortion towards the edges (as compared to my swaros and LRHS glass) but is very bright. For what I paid, I’ve been pleased.

I have one without the turret. Outstanding low light performance. I've killed 40+ deer with it on my crossbow, and it won't be coming off. rock solid holding zero and tracks perfect, just like every other Zeiss I own.
