was impressed enough with one of these to pick up my second one today, have compared them to some schmidt and bender klassiks and other high end scopes very impressed with the illumination, (i love the fact there is an off setting between each power setting on the illumination ) to my eyes they are very much worth the money clarity and sharpness of image and resolution were just great to my eyes
