Thanks guys. The neatest thing to me is that the test target was stamped February 4th which just happens to be my birthday

That’s great to have all that documentation with a nice, early G2 example. At one time, I owned a 1913 16ga with a straight grip stock. Supposedly it was one of the first 1k 16ga A5s brought into the US….according to Mr Shirley, anyway. It wasn’t nearly as nice on condition and provenance as yours. Nice acquisition.

Like "battue", I'm not a big A5 fan, but for that gun, I think I could be persuaded to push some of my personal dislikes aside! 😉👍 After all, being a sworn "no-auto in my house" fanatic, I "DID" pick up (rescue?) a nice old Rem "Sportsman" 16 gauge from a pawn shop a few years back. Rem started building the Sportsman 16 gauge in 1932. My gun is one of the first 500 made! Love "old" guns! ESPECIALLY old 16 gauge guns!

It took me a long time to find a straight grip. I have a 1912 that I spruced up the wood on. 1912 and 1930

That is awesome. I’d love to find something similar. I love the Grade IIs. I have two others but they aren’t as nice as this one

That is very nice. Like others have said I'm not a big A-5 fan but I'd make an exception for that one especially a 16

Wooo! That’s a beaut.
Just a few days ago I found a very nice sweet 16 at a shop. Was hard to hand it back.

Well we're Green and we're Gold, and we play better when it's cold. All us Cheese heads have our favorite superstar. We love Brett Favre.
