Hello, I would like to know a little more info on the Savage 1895 75th anniversary models...I am fairly familiar with the normal commemorative of which about 10K were supposed to be made, if I have my facts straight,...I would like more info on the more obscure, non cataloged overrun barrel models, from the series that made it onto roughly 400 or so rifles, any pics or info, fair value for the rifle in today's thoughts, would be appreciated. I don't have enough knowledge on this version to have any ideas at all. Thanks

LOL, on that statement from Calhoun. Does anyone recall the price on the GI sold rifle? How long ago?

I don't know that there are standard prices for them. I think one sold on proxibid not too long ago. Last September here.. $500 +18% fee + tax + shipping + FFL.. So-so gun. Loss of bluing on receiver, spots of no blue on barrel, finished missing in places on receiver. Condition is everything. https://www.proxibid.com/Guns-Milit...n-Rifle/lotInformation/70855869#topoflot

Somebody should write a book and document all these things. You should get on that one of these days 😏 Of course, I don't think I've happened across any more rifles in the wild since I bought my copy... such is life 😂

I recently traded a 1895 75th Anniversary Savage 99 for a $975.00 pistol. Last year, I had a chance to buy a 99C with the octagon barrel in excellent condition for $750 but passed.
