Paul;
Happy Tuesday morning to you my friend, I shall dispense with the usual salutations for obvious reasons! cool

As always I love your photos, even though yes the size and quantity of the Yellow Perch do make me more than a wee bit jealous.

That is a cross I choose to bear opening your posts!

Thanks again and all the best to you all.

Dwayne

Heading up in 2 weeks for 5 days at buddy's cottage. We should still be into the early bite then. Always look forward to it.

Nice Paul! What's your favourite method? We were doing good on perch coloured worm harness with a stinger.

At the moment, they're hungry & shallow, Marty.

Jig & minnow, all day long.

If we're scouting for fish, appropriate bottom bouncer for depth & I'll run a slow death & rubber worm & buddy will run a spinner & minnow.

Can cover ground quicker - 1.0 - 1.2 miles per hour !

Doug & I fished for less than 2 hours, to limit out, yesterday !

One of the best walleye bites I have experienced, without it being spring.

Instead of our fly in trip next year we are looking at setting up a wall tent on crown land and fishing some small lakes East of Nipigon. I hope to get up there in the next couple of weeks just to poke around and check things out.

Cool !

Just so you're aware, non residents require a camping permit, approx $10/person/day & you are restricted, by how close you can camp to lakes.

https://www.ontario.ca/page/non-resident-crown-land-camping-and-green-zones#section-4

Can't find the distance anywhere, but thinking it's either 100 or 500 metres !

I have to hit Devils Lake or Stump lake shortly. My nephew is catching up to 28 inch walleye and lots in the 20 plus range. He teases me with pics. Edk
